We came in for the first time on Saturday 9/26 and had an AMAZING experience. The food was great, we managed to come in during reversed happy hour and pleasantly surprised with the drink menu. Our bartender was awesome and accommodating. We ordered the mulo and replaced the vodka with patron tequila and was the best mule ever. We were even more excited when received our bill. We left feeling it was the best $60 spent and were already planning our next visit. It was a great Saturday evening.
Tonight 10/1 we came in at 9 again to take advantage of the reversed happy hour prices and have some good food also. Not the case at all.
UPDATE- 11/2 we decided to come in again this evening and give it another shot. We had a great time the food was awesome and our bartender was amazing. They more than made up for our last visit can't wait to go again. -

The place has a good vibe- very modern, chic, with good lighting, and an open space to check out the pizza while it's being made.. but the pizza fell flat for me. I ordered the Capricciosa pizza and it was underwhelming, as the crust was not this nuanced rustic type of finish that I've had in other wood-fired pizzas, and the sauce had no pop of freshness, and the overall ingredients on the top did not create an inviting look or smell. The smell was actually the first thing I noticed when I received the pizza.. it smelled off but the pizza tasted ok.
Maybe they have other dishes they're known for, but for pizza, I would not recommend. My friend had the gnocchi though which she also said was sub-par. Their affogato dessert is yummy though! I would recommend other pizza places in Phoenix for rustic woodfired pizza. -

Pomo has the best gluten-free pizza. The crust has a bit of both wood fired char and chew to it, while the ingredients are high quality and fresh. I like that their dough and sauce is not salty, the true flavors come right out at you. The veggie pizza is loaded with eggplant, roasted red pepper, fresh basil (would have liked even more basil), plus other goodies.
Save room for some of the best gelato in town, extremely creamy. The passion fruit is one of my favorites with not just the standard seeds but large pieces of chewy fruit giving it a complex texture. Any of the varieties that have chocolate swirl are also fantastic. The chocolate is dark and slightly sticky giving a very rich feel. -

This is the best happy hour in Phoenix, hands down. There's nowhere else that compares for the price on cocktails and appetizers.
There are some great vegetarian options on the menu! Some apps, like the eggplant parmesan, can operate as a full dinner. I especially love their arancini; I'd eat that sauce with a spoon. Their margherita pizza reminded me of pizza I had while actually in Italy - thin crust, quality mozzarella. My favorite thing is their gelato. They do fruity, chocolately, and nutty flavors well, with all the classics and a couple interesting options. I appreciate that they'll split a scoop between a couple flavors.
Their cocktail menu is fabulous as well. The blackberry lemondrop is my favorite for a perfect sweet/sour balance. Classics like the peach bellini and the negroni are present, and I've heard good things about their mule, but if you're looking for something different, the Passione is tart, passionfruity, and interesting. I've converted friends and I will continue to spread the gospel- don't miss their happy hour! -

This is a staple after my daughter's performances. We love their pizzas and eggplant parmesan and I of course have to have my Aperol Spritz.
My son loves his gelato. Last time we came with some friends after they watch my daughters performance and they also loved it. We had meals here two days in a row. Can't go wrong.
